The annual June wave of game announcements is upon is, and it can be tough to keep track of everything that has been unveiled -- especially with news spread across so many digital events.

Fortunately, the GamesIndustry.biz team is here to collate all the biggest news in one place, letting you scroll through the week's surprises at ease. Or click on the links below to jump to a specific showcase's reveals. You can also find a schedule of all the showcases right here.

Monster Hunter: Rise - Sunbreak demo Capcom showed off fresh footage of the new expansion for Monster Hunter: Rise, before announcing a demo will be released for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on June 14. More updates for the game are planned after Sunbreak launches on June 30.

Exoprimal tests coming A new trailer was shown for Exoprimal, an upcoming co-op shooter about wearing mechanical suits and blasting hordes of dinosaurs, announcing closed network tests will be held ahead of its launch in 2023.

Dragon's Dogma fans still waiting for a sequel Capcom has been making some noise about the popular RPG's upcoming tenth anniversary, leading many to speculate whether a sequel is in the works. No such title was announced during the showcase, but the publisher did promise a celebratory livestream on June 16.

Resident Evil Village continues with the Shadows of Rose The DLC for last year's Resident Evil was detailed, featuring a third-person story campaign Shadows of Rose, in which players control the titular character, as well as new quests for The Mercenaries, and a third-person option for the main story. It launches on October 28 -- the same day as multiplayer outing RE:Verse.

First gameplay for Resident Evil 4 Remake Having shown a teaser for the game at State of Play earlier this month, Capcom offered a deeper dive into the next Resi remake. As previously announced, it arrives on March 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Next-gen updates for Resident Evil trio Finally, Capcom announced it has developed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S updates for Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and Resident Evil 7 -- and they're available now.

Redfall gameplay unveiled Bethesda kicked off the show with a glimpse at gameplay in Redfall, the upcoming shooter from Arkane Austin. Viewers got a first look at the FPS, which is exclusive to Xbox consoles. It's due to release sometime in 2023, following a delay.

Silksong shows up Next up was a trailer for Hollow Knight: Silksong, the highly antipicated sequel to Hollow Knight. The trailer showed snippers of gameplay and confirmed that it'll come to Game Pass, but a release date for the title remains elusive.

High on Life Team Squanch, the developer behind Trover Saves The Universe, gave a look at High on Life, a sci-fi alien due to launch in October 2022.

Optimised matchmaking Riot has partnered with Microsoft to bring its catalogue of games to Game Pass. Via a subscription to the platform, players can unlock all characters and agents across League of Legends, Wild Rift and Valorant, as well as select little legends in Teamfight Tactics.

A Plague Tale: Reqiuem Focus and Asobo Interactive gave a look at A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. The game is slated to launch

Forza Motorsport Xbox gave a detailed look at Forza Motorsport, set to arrive on Game Pass next spring. It's the next major instalment to the Forza franchise, and boasts several next gen updates including ray tracing, overhauled phsycics and new dynamic weather.

Flight Simulator turns 40 Microsoft is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Flight Simulator series with a new update, scheduled to drop this November. The celebrations include a partnership with Halo to put its iconic Pelican ship into the game, which players can pilot.

Overwatch 2 A new trailer for Overwatch 2 was shown, with confirmation of the game launching into early access on October 4, 2022. The shooter will be free-to-play, and a new tank character, Junkerqueen, was revealed during the announcement.

Ara: History Untold reveal A new history-focused strategy game called Ara: History Untold was shown next, and is heading to PC and Xbox next year. The turn-based title is from Oxide Games, a studio made up of former Firaxis and EA staff.

High Isle time Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines stopped by for an ESO update -- The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle is an upcoming DLC for the MMO set to launch June 21.

The Pitt Staying on the live service beat, a new major content update is on the way to Fallout 76 later this year. The Pitt arrives on console and PC in September.

Hot Wheels Forza Horizon 5 is also due an update. A new Hot Wheels DLC is on the way, which lets Forza players race around wacky courses akin to the classic toyline. It launches July 19.

Ark 2 reveal Ark 2, the awaited sequel to 2017 dinosaur survival game Ark: Survival Evolved, was unveiled next. The announcement came with a brief trailer starring Vin Diesel, and it's due to release in 2023.

Scorn Up next was horror shooter Scorn, from developer Ebb Software and new publisher Kepler Interactive. The title was unveiled way back in 2014, but is due to launch on Xbox and PC on October 21.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Another Kepler-fuelled title followed, from developer A44 games. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an action-RPG, initially revealed earlier this year. It's due to launch early 2023.

Minecraft Legends Minecraft maker Mojang made an appearance to unveil Minecraft Legends, an action strategy game set in the iconic universe.

Lightyear Frontier Lightyear Frontier is a new space farming simulator from Swedish studio Frame Break. It was originally unveiled last August, but it set to launch in the spring.

Gunfire Reborn Roguelike action shooter Gunfire Reborn was shown next, from developer Duoyi (Hong Kong) Interactive. It's slated to launch on PC and Xbox October 2022.

Benedict Fox The last Case of Benedict Fox is an upcoming side-scrolling action title due to launch in spring 2023.

As Dusk Falls Next up was a look at As Dusk Falls, an interactive drama built into a video game. It can support up to 8 players, and launches July 19.

Console Bladepoint Naraka Bladepoint is on the way to consoles later this month. The battle royale from 24 Entertainment lands on Game Pass June 23.

Pentiment reveal Pentiment is a new medieval-themed mystery game on the way from Obsidian Entertainment. It's set to launch this November.

Fully Grounded Other Obsidian title Grounded is also set to fully launch later this year. The survival game has been in early access in 2020, but a full release drops in September.

Stealth reveal Another new title was unveiled next -- Ereban: Shadow legacy is an upcoming stealth action game from developer Baby Robot, and its due to launch next year.

Diablo 4 reveal The next instalment of the Diablo series was shown next, alongside a gameplay reveal which showcased some live service additions to the title. It's scheduled to drop sometime in 2023.

The Seven Seas Rare multiplayer pirate romp Sea of Thieves is now in its fourth year, and Season 7 of the title promises new content when it launches on July 21.

Ravenlok Ravenlok is a new action-adventure title from Cococumber, the makes of Echo Generation. It's scheduled to release in 2023.

Cocoon Cocoon is the brand new offering from Playdead, the studio behind Limbo and Inside. It's a top-down puzzle adventure, set to come out next year.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Team Ninja is currently working on Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, a new action title set to release early 2023.

Persona Game Pass Xbox Games boss Phil Spencer shared that a handful of Persona titles are on the way to Game Pass later this year. Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal arrive on Xbox and PC on October 21.

Xbox x Kojima Spencer also confirmed that the firm is working alongside Kojima Productions to create a brand new Xbox title. No further details were given, but Kojima himself made an appearance to confirm the news.

Starfield The conference came to a close with an appearance from Todd Howard, and a much-anticipated update on space RPG, Starfield. In an extended reveal, Bethesda showcased chunks of gameplay, explorable areas, as well as robust character creation, skill trees and crafting systems. Starfield doesn't have a solid launch date just yet following a delay, but it's expected sometime in 2023.

Terra Nil (Free Lives, Devolver Digital)

Saturday saw indie collective Wholesome Games host another annual showcase, brimming with new announcements, updates on already released games and more.

The direct squeezed over 90 games in total into a 70 minute showcase, including another look at Devolver's upcoming strategy game Terra Nil, a new trailer for Coffee Talk: Episode 2 which is due to launch soon, and a release window of summer 2022 for upcoming music game We Are OFK.

Some reveals are to launch this year, including A Walk With Yiayia which comes out in August, as well as ranch building title Gaucho and the Grassland and postal delivery simulator Mail Time, both due in Q4 this year.

Sunday Gold (BKOM Studios, Team 17)

Future Games Show also highlighted the collected works of certain publishers and groups.

Team 17 The Worms firm offered a glance at a mix of titles it has in the works, including OverBorder Studio's Thymesia, Woodland Games' Autopsy Simulator, RocketBrush Studio's The Unliving, Fika Productions' Ship of Fools, Stormind Games' Batora: Lost Haven and Super Mega Team's The Knight Witch. The publisher also showed off a trailer for turn-based combat game Sunday Gold, due for PC later this year.

Kwalee The publisher showed off a montage of new footage from its upcoming games, with updates on their launch windows. Titles include Damage State's shooter Scathe (August 31, 2022), one-on-one fighter Die by the Blade (2022), Muse Games' exploration and gardening game (2023), and indie rhythm shooter Robobeat (2023).

Games for Ukraine Future dedicated a section of its show to speaking with Ukrainian developers and they projects they're making in the midst of war. Titles featured included Andriy Bychkovskyi's Farlanders, Weasel Token's Puzzles for Clef, Marginal Act's This Rain Will Never End, Sandman Team's Through the Nightmares, and Marevo Collective's Zero Losses.

During its Geeked Week, Netflix announced three game adaptations of some of its most successful TV series.

Money Heist will be adapted as a single player action title under the name La Casa De Papel (Money Heist), and it's "coming soon."

Netflix will also release a chess game based on The Queen's Gambit, while Shadow and Bone is coming in the form of a mobile RPG. The narrative-driven title, called Shadow and Bone: Destinies, will be released in 2023.

Netflix also showcased Poinpy, a title from Downwell developer Ojiro Fumoto, which is available now to subscribers of the platform. The company is aiming to have 50 games available in its catalogue by the end of 2022.

Finally, Netflix announced more games being adapted into shows, including Dragon Age, as well as more Castlevania and Cuphead, among others.

The Plucky Squire (All Possible Features)

The publisher showed off several new titles during its hour long show, accompanied by its traditional quirky presentation.

First up was Cult of the Lamb, a new roguelike from developer Massive Monster, set to release on August 11.

Next up was Anger Foot, from Free Lives, an first-person action game in which players use their foot as the main weapon. It's set to launch next year.

The Plucky Squire was shown next, set to launch in 2023. An action-adventure, it tells the tale of storybook characters that come to life outside of their own pages, made by All Possible Futures.

Stylish skating game Skate Story rounded off the show, from developer Sam Eng. It's due to launch sometime next year.

Following Summer Games Fest, Day of the Devs, hosted by Iam8Bit and Double Fine, gave a look into a handful of upcoming indie titles, with some brand new reveals from studios around the world.

The showcase showed off 16 titles, which are listed below.

First up was Time Flies, a simulator where you play as a house fly from Michael Frei and Raphaël Munoz. The game is set to release on PlayStation, Switch and PC next year.

Swedish indie studio Wishfully Games showed its debut title Planet of Lana, a side-scrolling adventure title unveiled last year. It's set to launch on Xbox and PC later in 2022.

Next up was Two Star Games, helmed by solo developer Gavin Eisenbeisz. Eisenbeisz is currently making Choo Choo Charles, an open world horror title in which players fight a massive creepy train with spider legs.

Coin Crew Games gave a look at Escape Academy, set to launch on Game Pass next month. Escape Academy is an escape-room inspired puzzle game which can be played alone or co-op, and is set to drop July 14.

A Little to the Left was shown next, a cozy puzzle game about organising a home, with "assistance" from a pet cat. It's made by Max Inferno, and it's coming to Steam and Switch later in the year.

Romanian Studio Gummycat then gave a look at Bear and Breakfast, a management game about a bear running a B&B in the woods, with a spooky narrative twist. Bear and Breakfast launches on July 28.

Developer Shared Well showed more of Animal Well, a pixel art, puzzle platformer on its way to PS5 and Steam. No announce window just yet.

Naiad was unveiled next, a top-down exploration game from Spanish studio HiWarp, set to launch by the end of the year.

Ustwo Games, the developer behind Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, showed off its new title Desta: The Memories Between. The title has roguelike and turn-based elements, but doesn't have a release date yet.

Soda Den showed Roots of Pacha, a farm simulator game set during the Stone Age. A demo is now available on Steam.

Netherlands based team of two Ewoud Van Der Werf gave a look at SCHiM, a platformer where the player must move between shadows in an environment.

Two games from Japanese developers were shown next -- Fox and Frog Travelers: The Demon of Adashino Island from Rias, and Goodbye World from Yo Fujii. The former is a few years away, while the latter releases on Steam later this year.

Chicago-based developer Madison Carr showed off Birth, a point and click adventure title about living alone in a big city. The game launches in August.

How to Say Goodbye was shown next, a narrative puzzle game about adjusting to death, from developer Florian and Baptiste. It releases later this year.

Lastly, Day of the Devs wrapped up with the announcement of Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland, a new title from Die Soft. The game launched a Kickstarter campaign alongside the unveiling.

During the Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley, the host showcased a number of developer interviews, previews, and updates to existing titles. The presentation also featured a number of reveals and details for games releasing in 2022 and beyond.

The final reveal was The Last of Us Part 1, a remake of the 2013 Naughty Dog title built specifically for PlayStation 5 that will launch on September 2, 2022. The studio's Neil Druckmann also discussed the upcoming HBO TV adaptation and confirmed a standalone multiplayer game is still in the works, showing off a new piece of concept art for the title.

Aliens: Dark Descent Tindalos Interactive unveiled a single-player squad-based action game set in the popular sci-fi universe. Focus Entertainment will publish this for PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox in 2023.

American Arcadia A stealth puzzle platformer set in a 1970s-style city where every aspect of citizens' lives is broadcast on TV. Developed by Out of the Blue and published by Raw Fury, this is coming to PC and consoles, although no release date has been given.

Double showing from MiHoYo The Genshin Impact developer showed off a fresh look at Honkai Star Rail, its upcoming sci-fi action adventure. The game is in development for mobile and PC, although has yet to be given a release date. It also showed a teaser for upcoming title Zenless Zone Zero, but no platforms or release date were detailed.

Flashback 2 Three decades after the original released, Flashback returns in a new sci-fi side-scrolling action game from Microids. It's heading to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Switch by the end of 2022.

Fort Solis A single-player first-person thriller set on Mars, co-developed by Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games. It's heading to PC and stars Troy Baker, but no release date was given.

Goat Simulator 3 Oh-so-hilariously skipping '2' and riffing on the original Dead Island 2 trailer, Goat Simulator returns this autumn. Developed by Coffee Stain North, this is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Epic Games Story.

Highwater This indie adventure explores the impact of climate change as players explore a flooded post-apocalyptic world. It's developed by Demagog Studio, published by Rogue Games, and coming to PC and mobile by the end of the year.

Humankind Published by Sega and developed by Amplitude Studios, this turn-based 4X strategy game that encompasses the whole of human history is now heading to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in November. New DLC was also announced, adding the cultures of Latin America.

Layers of Fears Bloober Team unveiled the third game in its popular horror series, heading to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in early 2023.

Metal: Hellsinger Developer by The Outsiders, this first-person shooter centres around players blasting demons to the rhythm of a heavy metal soundtrack, which will feature System of a Down's Serj Tankian, Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Glüzm, Trivium's Matt Heafy and Lamb of God's Randy Blythe. It will be published by Funcom, and is heading to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in September.

Midnight Fight Express Jacob Dzwinel's isometric beat 'em up was shown off in a new trailer, and will be published by Humble Games on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch on August 23.

Routine A decade after its original announcement, Lunar Software's sci-fi horror first-person shooter is back on the radar. The game will be published for PC and Xbox by Raw Fury and features a soundtrack by Mick Gordon.

Stormgate Frost Giant Studios, a developer formed by Blizzard veterans, showed off their debut game Stormgate, a free-to-play real-time strategy title. It's in development for PC, with a beta planned for 2023.

Warhammer 40,000 Darktide Following the success of Vermintide, Fatshark returns to the Warhammer universe with this first-person shooter, due for PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 13.

Witchfire Originally announced in 2017, Witchfire received a new trailer and a release window. The dark fantasy first-person shooter is developed by The Astronauts, the Polish indie behind The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and will be in Early Access exclusively on the Epic Games Store this Q4.

Virtual reality and augmented reality gaming outlet Upload VR held its presentation dedicated to showcasing new VR/AR titles. The hour-long show featured a variety of games from developers with releases scheduled for 2022, beyond, and those yet to be announced.

Play owned titles via Xbox Cloud Gaming Microsoft announced that later this year it will be enabling Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream select games that they already own, even if they're not part of the Game Pass library.

Project Moorcraft bringing demos heading to Xbox Game Pass Xbox's Project Moorcraft will introduce a selection of curated demos of upcoming titles to Game Pass, starting some time within the next year. The focus at first will be on independent developers, who will be able to "see how their demos perform, and be compensated."

Xbox Cloud Gaming coming to Samsung 2022 smart TVs Microsoft and Samsung are partnering to bring the Xbox app to the latter's smart TVs on June 30. This will enable Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play any cloud gaming titles via a Bluetooth controller, while non-subscribers will be able to play Fortnite.

Xbox Cloud Gaming coming to two new markets Beta tests for Xbox Cloud Gaming are launching in Argentina and New Zealand, allowing Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to begin playing games via streaming. Again, Fortnite is free to non-subscribers.

Gaming improvements for Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge Microsoft detailed more games-centric features for its operating system and internet browser, including a Game Pass Widget for easier access to the service's library, a Controller bar with shortcuts and a list of most recent games, and a new personalised gaming homepage in Edge.

Xbox Design Lab expands Microsoft announced new pastel colours and customisation options for its personalised controller service. Xbox Design Lab is also launching in 12 new countries: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland, and we'll add Taiwan later this summer.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Activision Blizzard)

Modern Warfare 2 dated, series returns to Steam Activision Blizzard showed off the first gameplay footage of this year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a sequel to the 2019 series reboot. It will launch for consoles and PC on October 28, and will also be available for Steam -- the first title in the series to release on Valve's marketplace since 2017's Call of Duty: WW2.

Warzone sequel due this year A follow-up to the free-to-play battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone will be released later in 2022. Activision Blizzard also revealed the original has attracted more than 125 million players since it launched in 2020.

Sega's showcase focused on a mix of game updates and licensing/merchandise deals. Highlights included:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Aspyr)

The publisher that specialises in bring digital-only retro and indie titles to retail as physical editions announced 33 new titles in its showcase.

This included four new titles developed with its own Carbon Engine emulation tool: Bill & Ted's Excellent Retro Collection, Rendering Ranger R-2, A Boy and His Blob Retro Collection and Shantae.

Resident Evil 4 Remake confirmed Capcom kicked off State of Play with the first look at Resident Evil 4 Remake, launching on March 24, 2023. Additional content is also in development specifically for PlayStation VR2, as well as VR content for Resident Evil Village.

More PS VR2 titles confirmed Sony also announced Hello Games' acclaimed No Man's Sky and Skydance Interactive's The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution are coming to PlayStation VR2. The Walking Dead is expected to launch by the end of the year.

More from Horizon Guerrilla Games gave a glimpse at the gameplay of VR exclusive, Horizon: Call of the Mountain, while also announcing a free update -- including photo mode and various visual improvements -- for this year's Horizon: Forbidden West is now available.

Marvel's Spider-Man swings onto PC PlayStation's expansion onto PC continues, with Insomniac Games hit Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered heading to Steam and Epic Games Store on August 12.

Street Fighter returns Announced earlier this year, Capcom showed off the first gameplay for Street Fighter 6, which is slated to arrive in 2023.

The Callisto Protocol set for Christmas Developed by Glen Schofield's Striking Distance Studios, this sci-fi horror action game from former Dead Space developers launches on December 2.

Final Fantasy 16 due next year Square Enix showed of fresh footage of the next mainline entry its flagship Final Fantasy series, which has been given a launch window of Summer 2023.

Stray stalks into July Published by Annapurna Interactive, this cyberpunk cat-centric adventure launches for PS4 and PS5 on July 19. PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers get access to the game on day one at no additional cost.

Roll7's new IP revealed Also shown off at State of Play was the next creation from the team behind OlliOlli. Rollerdome is a rollerskating arena shooter, published by Private Division, and launches on August 16.

More indies heading to PlayStation Foxy fantasy RPG Tunic is coming to PlayStation on September 27, followed by Scavengers Studio's Season: A Letter to the Future in the Autumn. Finally action game cum dating sim Eternights will arrive in Early 2023.
